Our statement of faith:

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe that all of mankind has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, with the exception of one man, Jesus Christ.

King James Version Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

King James Version Hebrews 4: 14-15
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

We believe that God sent His Son into the world to buy and purchase our salvation by giving his life on the Cross and was raised to life again on the third day.

King James Version John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

We believe in the Triune God, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

God has told us to make a joyful noise.

King James Version

Psalms 81:1 Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

King James Version Psalms 95:1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

King James Version Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him.

The following two verses tells us to use instruments along with singing.

King James Version Psalm 33:2-3  2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto Him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

3 Sing unto Him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

King James Version Psalms 43:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

King James Version Psalms 50:23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to Him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

King James Version Psalms 69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Amplified Bible (AMP) 1 Chronicles 16:8-13

8 O give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known His doings among the peoples!

9 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His wondrous works and devoutly praise them!

10 Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!

11 Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually!

12 [Earnestly] remember the marvelous deeds which He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He uttered [as in Egypt],

13 O you offspring of [Abraham and] of Israel His servants, you children of Jacob, His chosen ones!

Verse 9 Sing to Him, sing praises.

Singing of His wonderful acts. Much of Southern Gospel tells of God’s Wonderful acts.

New American Standard Bible (NASB) Psalms 69:30

I will praise the name of God with song And magnify Him with thanksgiving.

All songs in Southern Gospel glorify either the Father, the Son, and/or the Holy Spirit.

Gospel quartet music makes a joyful noise when those four voices blend together. Yes, this music is entertaining, it is also spiritually uplifting. You have a double blessing. You get spiritually blessed and you get entertained and the same time.
